DESCRIPTION: Discusses Whole Community Approach to Emergency Management, VOAD organizations and other community-based organizations/non-profit organizations as key partners in response and recovery efforts. The audience will gain a better understanding of VOAD organizations; their role in response and recovery efforts; formal organizational structures of VOAD groups; and strategies for partnership.
